When Max's mom reached out and asked to do his session at the local county fair, I immediately said yes! I knew the session would be late into the evening and was super excited for the sun to set so we could play with slow shutter speeds and the lights on the rides.
The portraits with the blurred lights were taken at a super slow shutter speed. 1/8 s to be exact. I used a Flashpoint XPLOR 400 for the off camera lighting. I took these images with my Canon r6 and my three main lenses. the Canon EF 50mm 1.2, 24-70mm 2.8 and 70-200mm 2.8.
The weather could not have been more perfect and we got so many great settings inside the fair. If you ever find yourself at the Mooreland Fair in Mooreland, Indiana, make sure you get yourself a sausage sandwich and peach cobbler! Highly recommend!
